Brands To Check Out This Season

This summer is the first time I’ve ever worked for a fashion company, and honestly, I have to say that I am for real LOVING it. I’ve met so many people with great style and learned about new clothing brands that the only bad thing to say about is that I didn’t discover them sooner!

These brands are full of super cute, unique pieces - perfect for grabbing a few staple items that are actually affordable. What more could you ask for?

So, before I waffle on, here are my new fashion discoveries!

side-note: I'm going to put all of my outfit details from pics at the bottom of each post, along with links so you can shop my wardrobe!  😘

I’ve only just gotten my first delivery from Monki, and it’s safe to say that I am essentially in love. Monki are a Swedish company whose style motto is combining the minimalistic Scandinavian fashion with expressive street style.
All of their clothes are super unique and cute as heck. Every visit to the website honestly just makes me want to buy everything.

I have to admit that to start with, I was really nervous about the sizing of their clothes. Turns out, the sizing is perfect - even a bit oversized!
They’ve got a huge range of everything from t-shirts, trousers, shorts, dresses, shoes and adorable quirky accessories, so you can shop to your heart’s (or wallet’s) content!

After spending a lot of time browsing through the website and having to restrain myself from putting every second thing in my basket (honestly, it wasn’t easy), I finally settled on this gorgeous oversized cold-shoulder dress.

My first impressions of Monki are 10/10. The dress is actually oversized and looks exactly as it does in the pictures, plus the little bows on the sleeves are adorable! The material is sturdy and I can already tell this dress is going to last a long time. But, it’s still super light and airy, and somehow doesn’t make you end up freezing when it’s cold outside. Perfect for sunny and gloomy days!

You can check out Monki’s stuff here, and all I can say is try not to be overwhelmed by cuteness 😍

If you’re looking to look super suave this Fall, then Weekday is where you wanna go. They’ve got an amazing range of quirky but understated pieces, that are perfect for building a versatile wardrobe.
The Wide Leg Pleated style trousers are in right now, and Weekday seem to have an endless range of them.

Plus, they’ve just opened their first store in the UK on Regent Street, London, and it looks amazing!
Besides all the stuff they have online, one thing you really want to pick up is a Zeitgeist.

Zeitgeists are super limited edition t-shirts that Weekday create every Friday. Each week, on Friday a new design is printed onto plain t-shirts in selected stores (they have the whole printing press setup in store!), and sold throughout that week until they're all out.
If you want to nab one, you better do it stat, because they sell out prettttty fast.

If you’re wondering the reason why, then you can see for yourself here (an archive of Zeitgeists).

Zeitgeists are all about being right in the middle of current political uprisings and telling their opinion  it like it is, whilst being incredibly cheeky. This always create a whirlwind of reactions, which is exactly what they want. So if that’s your thing, Weekday is the right place to be.
Have a look at all of their collections here!

I have a few more than I could chat about all day, but it’s probably best not to do that until I’ve had the chance to try them out myself! But don’t worry - I have terrible impulse control so you’ll probably hear from me again pretty soon!
